Welcome to the pre-conference tour showcasing five exceptional growers, processors and marketers
from Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis Valley. Guests must be pre-registered to attend this event.

Gather in lobby at Lord Nelson Hotel. Check-in with tour organizers & board bus
07:30 AM Bus departs to Annapolis Valley
TOUR STOP #1: Scotian Gold
09:00 AM
A commercial packing operation for apple and tree fruit serving the Annapolis Valley.
10:00 AM Board bus & depart from Scotian Gold
TOUR STOP #2: Luckett Vineyards
10:30 AM
A vineyard and winery with vinifera and hybrid varieties.
LUNCH: Luckett Vineyards
Lunch will follow the vineyard tour. Menu includes paninis & salads, served family-style.
11:00 AM Please check in with the tour organizers if you have listed any dietary restrictions.
Luckett Vineyard features a large hospitality venue with wine tasting and bottle sales.
Guests are welcome to browse during free time after lunch.
12:00 PM Board bus & depart from Luckett Vineyards
TOUR STOP #3: Blueberry Acres
12:30 PM The largest highbush blueberry producer in Nova Scotia with many varieties under
conventional management, and a controlled atmosphere storage facility.
01:30 PM Board bus & depart from Blueberry Acres
TOUR STOP #4: Canard Haskap
An 18 acre haskap farm with organic weed management practices and a mechanical

harvester. Canard Haskap are member growers of Haskap Highland, and will have
variety of value-added haskap goods available for purchase.
02:50 PM Board bus & depart from Canard Haskap
TOUR STOP #5: TapRoot Farms
03:00 PM
A certified organic mixed vegetable farm with tunnel and field production.
04:00 PM Board bus & depart from TapRoot Farms
06:00 PM Bus arrives back at Lord Nelson Hotel. End tour
